About

Vera means truth. The link is the point.

VeraLink Systems LLC is a language-access technology company based in Columbus, Ohio. We build real-time translation infrastructure for the settings where a misunderstood word has consequences: civic meetings, classrooms, legal and financial conversations.

Our founding observation is simple. Modern translation is fluent, and fluency is not the same as fidelity. A sentence can sound natural in your language and still quietly shift what you agreed to, what you owe, or what rights you just gave up. Generic tools optimize for how translation sounds. We optimize for what it means.

That is why VeraLink anchors high-stakes terms to governed, versioned glossaries reviewed by people who live in both languages, and why every session leaves a record of the definitions it relied on.

VeraLink began with Spanish-speaking residents in Central Ohio who could not fully participate in their own city council meetings, and it grows community by community from there. We build with native speakers, community partners, and the institutions that serve them.

Protected work

The VeraLink meaning-protection workflow, including dialect-aware anchoring and feedback-governed glossary expansion, is patent pending.
