Delete your account and data
You can request deletion of your VeraLink account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page describes exactly how, and what happens next.
How to request deletion
- Send an email to privacy@veralinksystems.com from the email address on your VeraLink account.
- Use the subject line "Delete my account."
- We may reply to confirm the request came from you before we proceed.
What gets deleted
- Your account and profile information.
- Your session participation history.
- Your term interaction logs.
What may be retained
Aggregated or de-identified data that no longer identifies you, and records we are required to keep for legal or institutional documentation purposes, retained per the periods described in our privacy policy.
Timing
Deletion is completed within 30 days of a verified request, and we will confirm by email when it is done.
Joined a session without an account?
The browser session viewer does not create an account, so there is no account to delete. Session transcripts belong to the hosting institution as described in our privacy policy.
